Epic Birth (Taught by Grace)
This one-day class has been developed in the style of storytelling to help connect you and your partner to the birth process as well as to each other. We use a variety of activities and modalities to explain the birth process, discuss comfort measures, and prepare mentally and emotionally for the adventure ahead.
The class is scheduled when two or more couples express interest. Participants are given a $25 discount for referrals. Contact Grace for more info and/or to register for the next class.
$150/couple plus a potluck dish
Services Provided by Micole Davis, Student Midwife:
Doula Care ($1000):
Compassionate, family-centered, continuous support through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Micole brings you birth experience, passion for mothering the mother, and a deep personal understanding of the care and attention needed in this tender time. Clients have access to Micole's library of resources for parents in various stages of pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenting.
Birth Tub Rental ($150/$75):
Complete rental service includes delivery of tub with setup, cleaning, tear-down, and pick-up.
Reduced fee service includes only tub rental (you pick up and drop off).
All rentals include air pump, sump pump, and a new hose and liner.
Tub brands/styles include Mia Via Tranquility, Oasis Oval, and Birth Pool in a Box Eco.
Placenta Encapsulation ($150):
Micole uses the Traditional Chinese Medicine method for preparing placenta capsules for postpartum recovery, hormone stabilization, and lactation support. Contact Micole using the contact form below for more information. Includes pickup and dropoff. Yield is typically 80-100 capsules for an average-sized placenta. Turnaround is usually ~5 days.
